THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL!
Please check back for other upcoming or current events. If you have any questions, please reach out to Melissa Englund, City of Englewood, at 303-762-2390 or MEnglund@englewoodco.gov
In this workshop, you'll join the City of Englewood and Groundwork Denver water program director, Jessica Swindon, to learn about rainwater harvesting principles and how to apply them to your home. You'll leave with all of the information you need to install a rain barrel, the legality of harvesting rainwater, and how to start conserving water and saving money.
You will need to be able to take home your rain barrel at the end of the workshop. Due to the popularity of these workshops, please only register one person for one barrel per household.
Workshop Lead Bio: Jessica Swindon is the water program director at Groundwork Denver, an environmental-justice non-profit in Denver and an Englewood City resident. She works with youth and the community to install rain barrels and rain gardens for residents, monitors water quality, and advocates for water protection in the Metro Denver area.
